Peer Review Process

The Journal of Engineering Research Innovation and Scientific Development (JERISD) operates an online submission system for manuscript submissions. When submitting a manuscript, authors are required to provide a cover letter outlining the reasons for considering their manuscript, addressing any matters related to JERISD's editorial policies, and disclosing any potential conflicts of interest. Additionally, authors are expected to submit Conflict of Interest forms.

Submitted articles are subject to a peer review process, although manuscripts falling outside the journal's scope or those deemed to be of unacceptably low quality may be rejected without undergoing review. Manuscripts with potential suitability are typically reviewed by three experts chosen by the Editor-in-Chief within the relevant field. The goal is to reach a preliminary decision as expeditiously as possible. Reviewers are also required to declare any competing interests they may have. The comments provided by the reviewers (Reviewers 1, 2, and 3) are assessed by the Editor-in-Chief during an editorial board meeting to reach a final decision.

Editorial decisions are made based on the manuscript's overall validity and coherence, as evaluated by the peer reviewers. In addition to offering feedback to the authors, reviewers are asked to assess the quality and soundness of the research, the level of interest in the topic, and the overall writing quality. Whenever possible, the final decision is based on the consensus among peer reviewers, or at the very least, there should be no strong opposing views. In instances where significant disagreements arise, either among the peer reviewers or between the authors and reviewers, guidance may be sought from an editorial board member or a researcher with a similar level of expertise.
